- For better understand how wine culture is connected to Georgia, how Georgians make it and what the main things are to know about Georgian wine, visit one of the authentic family wine cellar in Kakheti. The traditional process of winemaking in Georgia has been on the Intangible Cultural Heritage List of UNESCO for quite some time now. That is the one of the most interesting things, that attract “wine-lovers”.
- Wine Yard №1 is a unique family-run tourist destination that combines a house, yard and wine cellar which has been in our family for three generations.Our family invites you into our home to show and submerge you in traditional Kakhetian family life including our famous feast, master of ceremonies (Tamada), homemade wine & food, folklore, agricultural traditions, and so on.
- Our guests are invited to visit our wine cellar that has been in use for three generations, pour wine from a traditional Qvevri and enjoy drinking it. It is also possible to take part in a distillation process for making Chacha from the left-overs of our wine production. Furthermore, our guests may participate in our grape harvest called Rtveli in Georgian. Other activities that we offer are making Churchkhela, baking bread, cooking master classes, horse riding, fishing visiting a trout farm, a picnic in the valley and other agricultural activities.

In the case of force majeure (landslides, avalanches, floods, etc.), we act in accordance with the safety standards that will be dictated by authorized state institutions. Also, we have the right to make changes to the tour. If these changes are unacceptable for you, you will receive 80% of the amount paid.
Cancellation
a) In case of notification of cancellation of the reservation at least 7 days prior to the beginning of the tour, only 80% of the canceled tour price will be returned to the tourist.
b) In case of notification of cancellation of the reservation at least 4 days before the start of the tour, only 50% of the cost of the canceled tour will be returned to the tourist.
c) In case of notification of cancellation of the reservation at least 2 days before the start of the tour, only 20% of the cost of the canceled tour will be returned to the tourist.
d) In case of notification of cancellation of the reservation 48 hours prior to the beginning of the tour, the cost of the tour will not be refunded to the tourist.
